Bringing back the *Small Details*

I've never experienced the small details from prior game installments which bums me out because even though I didn't play those, I still miss them. I always want to know why I can't see my neighbors in their yards while I am out gardening. When you have a neighbor right next door to you & you are outside you never see a sim walk past a window or anything. The game feels so cold/dead. Sure there are random sims walking the neighborhood in what I would call "the world's worst runway show" always angry & stomping or sluggish. The addition to seasons has made this even worse as most of them are not dressed for the weather. Who wears a winter coat during a heat wave or a swimsuit during a blizzard. These are all things that have happened in my game.

The small things for me would include being able to close my curtains. Or sit on my outdoor furniture & stay seated while waving to those passing by my home. Seeing my neighbors in their backyards or walking passed their windows. This game is suppose to simulate real life. I was told I can do what I want. What I want is to feel like the world is alive. No more having to ask my partner to marry me. Or tell my toddler to make a mess so I can "parent". I want the randomness that life has to offer in my game.
