Wow, was I ever wrong. I thought it was like Goucester, which I have been mispronouncing, it seems. It's Glaw (rhymes with claw)-ster . For the record Worcestershire is pronounced Wust-er-sure. Not Shy-er. But rather like New Hamshire. Which is why I hoped to learn the correct pronunciation. I guess we'll all call it our own way. I say live (as in Saturday Night Live) mode and not live rhymes with give.
Sorry, as a Brit I have to correct this! It's Glos-ter, not Glaw-ster :D
