Bucketlist goal: spend the day outside

I was able to complete it with a sim who lived in San Myshuno. He traveled to Moonwood Mill and there the library. I kept him off lot all day and the goal checked after 18 hours or so. So some of the time he spent on the lot must have counted, too, I think?

I didn't use the local public toilet for fear that would count as being indoors, but the pond is handy for the bladder need, there is a grill for hunger and a bench by the playground for napping. 

Same thing is happening for me, but for 2 bucket list goals. One was spend a day in Willow Creek and specifically says to meet locals and have a good time. I did as requested and it did not get checked off. Another bucket list goals says to host 5 parties. I hosted 1 party so far and it didn't get checked. Don't know what to do ... EA help!!

I spent days with my Sim camping outside. Interestingly, his whim to spend 8 hours outside checked off, but his bucket list did not.

I have had the same problem with the running around the park objective not completing. I have tried it in two base game parks. I thought maybe it had to be in a park in Ravenwood, but there is no park in Ravenwood.

I've found that these type of goals complete for me if I take my sims on vacation for a night. I did both the spend-a-day-in-Henford and visit-the-Creek by staying at each world in a vacation rental from night time and through the next day to the evening, and the bucket list checked off by the time the vacation period was over. I'm pretty sure the spend-the-day-outside one completed for me just by being out at the park in a different world to where they live - my sim used one of those public toilet blocks (the all-in-one units that can be plopped down from the toilet category) and it didn't affect the completion.

I also can't get this to complete - my sim is living outdoors in a tent with an outdoor bathroom, and I have her eating by vendors.
