Bug: Skill level not recognizing for promotion?

I use ui cheats mod to complete the job milestone. Just right clicking in the milestone that you can find in the job menu. I don't feel that im cheating. I did complete the milestone.

I've had the same issue but it didn't stop the promotion from happening. It just didn't show the correct level on the career tab.

Like that, down to the job level, but with Painting instead of Charisma. I Me-too'd it for good measure, though.

Sorry for raising this from the dead, just got back to this game after some time off. But, is there by any chance a console command to specifically flag a promotion requirement as finished? If at all possible, I'd like to address that, and then still get promoted normally, by going to work and coming back promoted.

If not, I'll take what I can get, but I would prefer to minimize my use of cheats to specifically fixing something bugged.

@Duke_Darkwood I don’t know about console but this bug shouldn’t hold your sim back from getting the promotion. I had the same thing in my game and she got promoted even though the skill didn’t appear checked off in her work tab.

That's a different problem but New Skill Day usually only recognizes skill levels 2, 3, 4, and 5. Let's not hijack the thread though.

I've had this bug nonstop, but they get promoted anyway as long as performance is maxed so not a huge issue.

I had to use MCCC to promote my sim after they got the required skills needed to be promoted.
