Builders, help! Can't seem to delete exterior trim

sounds like a glitch. save & quit and then reopen the build.
i know that's the equivalent of "have you tried turning it on and off?" lol, but it has worked for me when i've gotten these "phantom" stairs and gates that won't delete.
