if you don't mind me asking, how much RAM does your laptop have? (i'm asking as my pc doesn't have a crazy amount of RAM but still runs the game fine, so it may not be a RAM related issue.)
My laptop has 8gb of ram. I wish i could give you the entire specs but i'm not near it now... i know it's an asus icore 7 8---U 8gb ram ... that i bought 4 or 5 years ago...? I can't remember
8gb of RAM is typically the standard for most computers (I have 8gbs myself) so with that in mind I'm thinking it probably isn't a RAM issue? (I'd take my opinion with a grain of salt though, as my current tech info is very limited (mostly due to the fact that my pc is about ~8 years old, so i'm sort of out of date).)
Someone said to me that pcs with this U (icore 7 8***U) don't perform well for gaming. It actually has been doing fine but i have had to lower specs more or less since eco lifestyle (after the game discontinued for 32bits), when packs started to be a bit more demanding...
More than likely it is an dual core which is less effective than any cores beyond that, having multiple cores does not necessarily mean it is faster it just processes info more effectively.
