I guess I don’t officially know. But from the images, I only saw sims using the kayak solo. All I’ve wanted is some sort of boat device that twos can use at the same time. Can we get things that sims can do together and not side-by-side. This is my biggest sims 4 complaint at the moment.

Everything looks very similar.
I see exercise bikes and dumbbells from lovestruck, I see swimming and kayaks from Island Living, I see archery from Outdoor Retreat.
Is this what future packs will be now? Features that we were missing from older packs?

When seeing the leaked cover and seeing butterflies and possibly a butterfly container on the park bench, it looks very much like a possible OR insects redo. And I have been begging for insects to be in all worlds (if you have the pack), better looking containers and unique thumbnails (it is the same image, you have to hover to identify the insect when in inventory).
But if this pack means they give OR a refresh (updated) to fix these things to meld with the new insects, heck I might buy just for insects, I LOVED how they did insects in Sims 3 and Sim 4 only has on one map for insects and is a huge pet peeve of mine.
And I am a bit disappointed archery is done this style, instead of a medieval style that expanded to hunting (even if it was to a rabbithole to not actually show animal killing) so we could hunt for meat. But I figured archery/hunting would have been a long shot anyways LOL sorry for the pun.
Otherwise, the pack isn't exactly my cup of tea, I just do not play children or physical activities, but that is fine not every pack has to be for me XD

I’m interested in the sound of this pack and I definitely want to find out more (I’m always excited by more Sims content!). But for me personally, I feel it’s too much right now. We’ve had a lot of EPs lately with a lot of new systems and gameplay to get to know, and I feel it’s too soon for me to be adding yet another EP to my collection. I’m pretty sure I’ll get it in a sale at some point, though.

really i dont need this in my game and it really looks like outdoor retreat and the game is broken and not only that ep like for rent are broken since lauch... i wont buy this dlc cuz i already fell i have something similar also, all the dlc lattelly seems epty, shallow and the world seems dead because of how the game is structured i get it and its comming from someone who have almost all the dlc... really i just want the sims team to stop the dlc for a while and fix the game and if they really care about us do refreshes on old dlc and increase the price of dlc with refreshes cuz we know ea loves our money . ima give u an idea cuz look we know the sims 4 is so messy with the coding i cannot help but i know cc moders and cc creator would be happy to give the sims team the help they need and help to fix the game and do refresh for last dlc they are so awsome and some even already fix some part of the game with mods so i just fell like the sims team needs help and they are too pridefull to ask the community for help but i know cc creators loves the game and they know it so they are the best ppl to fix the game so i hope the sims team will read this cuz i love the game but i also hate it cuz its so buggy and really start working on sims 5 and do an open world cuz this ep gonna be a big flop like 4rent because we are tired of getting broken things in our game that are gonna break more the game

Features missing from older packs, being sold in remakes of older packs.
The Spa Day refresh gave me so much hope for the game. And now we're here.

Yeah pretty much.
The dumbbells are probably the biggest reason why I feel this because they were featured in the promo material for lovestruck but they were not usable in that pack.

I honestly think this is a case for multiple packs, I bet there are "shelved for later" items if they don't finish in time, or think they can just use in another pack later.

I agree . it's a like paying for other pack's refreshes and fixes and much needed base game update, and left overs from the previous packs creation. If you can afford to have this official in your game. Modders have already made plenty of these features. Most updates I think are done with the intention of breaking mods, in order to later sell them to you. Trying to be constructive: I really hope its cross pack compatible features as in New Zealand type reverse seasons, kids, teens, college students get a recess from school in the winter and summer seasons. I fear they might skimp but I would imagine they thought of it because of the summer camp survey for kids. I was disappointed to not see more wildlife like deer and interactive birds in the last pack enchanted by nature. Wish they could have thought of it for this pack. Not introducing enough more wild like for this type of situation. Still wishing for wild wolves, birds, Sasquatch, for Outdoor Retreat, if they could add something interesting like that for this pack- as it really looks like an Outdoor Retreat refresh. I wish they could just release gameplay kits for the next year or two and fix the freak'n game so it works and most importantly the save corruption. Honestly -- as much as I want to play, I am terrified to to progress in my 3rd new save transfer of over 1000 sims, bc of game corruption. I have devised a way to play in a vanilla save for build only-- but it's ridiculous because those too corrupt. I have to keep making new ones. It's a horror to think I am afraid to play a game I pay for.

To be fair to them they never said they were going to do refreshes though.I imagine refreshes still cost money and spa day refresh probably did not bring up sales.
