My bit of advice, especially going on the “build your own desktop” route-: FUTURE PROOF.
If your budget allows it, try not to cut corners. You’d want this baby to run a lot longer than 5 years. Keep in mind the content that you might like in the future. Sims 4 isn’t done yet and another title is most likely in the making, with different system requirements. Not sure if you play other games.
Sometimes it’s better to get a pair of expensive, but sturdy and durable boots that will last a life time instead of cheap ones that need replacement every year. The cheaper ones turn out to be more expensive and cause more hassle in the long run.
