Bullying in the Sims 4.

I think there should be bullying in the Sims 4. It is a real life thing, and would really fit.

The Bullier
As the Bullier, you get to bully people. Steal their lunch money, pick on, yada yada etc. You have a chance of getting caught by a teacher, which results in detention, returning the lunch money, etc, other school punishments. You act like a Bully, simple enough. You get good moodlets from bullying, and bad moodlets for getting caught or stood up to.

The victim
Your getting bullied. You lose your lunch money, pretty much getting the results of the bulliers actions. You can get a teacher, but you have a 75/25 chance the teacher will help. You get bad moodlets for getting bullied, and good moodlets for the bully being stopped. You can stand up to the bully, with a 50/50 shot of it working.

SO YOU ALL KNOW, I AM COMING AT THIS FROM A VICTIMS VIEW. I WAS BULLIED IN SCHOOL, TILL THE POINT WHERE I CAME HOME BRUISED AND BLEEDING. I WAS PICKED ON FOR MY HEIGHT, MY SKIN COLOR, MY I.Q, EVERYTHING. IT HURTS. AND I'D LIKE IT IN THE GAME, BECAUSE THERE IS NO SCHOOL THAT IS PERFECT.
I'M NOT KIDDING OR LYING. I WAS BULLIED TO THE POINT OF BLOOD SHED, AND MY TEACHER AND PRINCIPAL WATCHED AND DID NOTHING. ONE TIME THEY CHEERED THE BULLIER ON. IT IS A REAL THING. AND I'D LIKE IT IN.
I AM STILL SUFFERING FROM IT. I HAVE A MESSED UP EAR AND FINGER, A DENTAL PROBLEM, DEPRESSION, AND THE HABIT OF SAYING SORRY FOR LITERALLY EVERYTHING. I KNOW THAT WASNT ABOUT THE SIMS, BUT IT SHOULD BE IN, AND IF I DONT ADD THIS PART IN I'D GET ATTACKED FOR WANTING IT IN. Not like I'm still not going to be.

Sorry for all that....
Thanks for reading...

  • I have yet to purchase the Sims 4, but have been watching a lot of game play and talked to several people who play the Sims. The one thing that I have to say about the players are that they use the game for entertainment, but also as a form of escapism. The Sims World is based on the real world, but striped of the all the crap that makes the real world so hard to deal with. Adding bullying to the game is not only an ill-conceived idea, but also something that would destroy the pseudo-Utopia world that is Sims. I have had experiences with bullying and would say that it would not be fun to play a game that featured being a victim all over again. While some might find it to be therapeutic to use the game as a way to confront their bully, the vast majority (just look at the response to the OP) would find it opening up old wounds. If the OP feels so strongly about this idea, why don't you create a challenge out of it. Not everyone is going to like the idea, but there would be some that would probably be willing giving a challenge a try.
  • Why revive a thread from 5 years ago? Lol this is the oldest one I’ve seen so far revived. In before it’s closed.
  • @SimmerRicky Thank you very much for your input!

Going forward please try to avoid resurrecting threads - 5 years is a long time :) Please familiarize yourself with the forum rules (Necroing is in the Don't section).

Have fun on the forums
