Bundle Bug
Good morning, I just talked to a CSR named Harsh about an issue with the bundles offered. They offer the bundle at $49.99 but I ended up being charged $69.99, which is the original prize. I would lik...
Hey cyborg423,
Thanks for the post. We can certainly pass this along to be checked into, but I'm afraid we cannot provide a refund or price adjustment of any kind here on the forums.
If you purchased something and weren't given the correct price, you'll need to speak with support. We cannot make any changes to your account or purchases via the forums.
If you had already made the purchase, please resume your case to speak with support again so another advisor can take a look. Thanks!
Thank you for your reply. The CSR that helped me before said the exact same thing, that they were unable to help with a refund or price adjustment.
I tried to resume my case but it won't let me, this is the status: "Status: Waiting on Player." Do you know what it means?
Typically that means the advisor is waiting for a response from you, but if that's leaving you unable to reply they may still need to close out something on their end before you're able to do so.
In that situation I'd try a new case instead of resuming that one.
Aside from that, are you still seeing the same bundle prices if you clear the cache in the EA app? That would just help us rule out the possibility of the app not properly updating if that had recently changed.
It's partially for reasons like this issue that I wish EA would bring back an actual phone number that we players can call, so that it's easier to discuss any game and/or purchasing issues we have. The other part of my reasoning for re-instituting a Help phone line is that not everyone is able to type fast enough, or even easily enough, as required by the current, only, text/chat based system for issues like this. I know that it's extra money for EA to create that kind of department again, and there can also be an issue with language/accent barriers, it's just ... One size does not fit all when it comes to getting help with game and/or purchase problems. (Case in point, I have degenerative issues with both hands and wrists, making it extremely painful and difficult trying to keep up with a text based chat system - especially when it's paired with an obvious first language barrier - before the CSR assisting me assumes I'm not answering and drops the chat, thereby making me have to start over from the very beginning. As an example, it's taken me about 45mins to type this one post at the current speed my hands can type; don't even get me started on the sheer number of typos my fingers throw due to this condition.)
