I'm sure most people have seen that the sims mobile has bunk beds now, which has lead to a lot of complaining that we don't have them in the sims 4 but this is actually most likely a good thing! It means bunk beds are something the sims team is considering and it shows that they've been working on creating realistic animations for bunk beds. There's no way they'd work on creating realistic bunk bed animations for a mobile game and then not bring them to the main game, especially given how desired bunk beds are with sims players. https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/images/sims-mobile-bunk-beds-1594315601.jpg?resize=480:*Ladders came out a month ago aswell, which is obviously another big part of bunk bed animations, it seems a logical next step to release bunk beds after this. This combined with bunk beds being released in the mobile game a month later heavily signals that they're most likely coming sometime soon, possibly even with the upcoming game pack.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if you were right and they showed up in the next game pack. They've always said they couldn't budget them into a stuff pack but they would have to be a game pack or expansion pack. The signs all do seem to be here that this is going to be a reality soon. I'm just hoping that they add a simple version to the base game in case I don't want the rest of the pack they come with. :D

That game is made in Australia now. The people making Sims 4 aren’t the ones making that stuff. Last I checked there are bits of content in the mobile game Sims 4 doesn’t have. I don’t think it means they are coming to PC.

Maybe, people thought the same thing when Island Living was released with ladders.

I hope they come soon. I didnt know there was such a high demand for them. I also think that since they are adding them to the mobile game, then ts4 might be next.

Ugh, hopefully they aren't glitchy messes like the ones in TS3 were.

Soon as in four months later? This thread was started in July, this is Oct. lol. How long is soon? Lyndsay said 'soon' when she mentioned news about a new EP, that was over a month ago. It is four months or a month or six years? I want Maxis to define 'soon'. You know those word lists people make at the end of the year? like saying 'you know' lol, I think soon should be added to one of those lists. Like when people want the term 'at the end of the day' added to the list to be discouraged from saying anymore, I think soon should be one of those words or phrases that should be on one of those lists.

Maxis isn't the only one that does that. I take the word ''soon'' in videogames with a grain of salt. I hope the bunkbeds get added with the pre-patch for the next EP. I would like to have bunkbeds but I can wait atm. It is still something that should just be added asap because they got so many chances to add it in. It is almost like they forgot about it in some packs.

Bunkbeds would have been a great addition to Tiny House pack, Parenthood, Kids Room Stuff and even the university pack. I don't think it can be patched in because the object would need specific animations. That would probably blow the entire free content budget. What I don't understand is why they never say, look, we can't get the animatons correct and it's too hard and expensive and no we won't be doing this any time soon, like six years ago. This is one of those things that has been requested for six years, it they were interested in doing it, it would have been done by now. Think of how much they are interested in that they add to the game, whether we are interested in it or not.....I think you have a very long wait and maybe never.

Who knows. Maybe this decade? I'm still confused why they weren't the main item in kids room stuff tbh. That was a really stupid decision

Spiral Stairs ?! Oh, how I would love to have Spiral Stairs. They look so cool. I seem to remember having them in Sims 2, and the sims getting dizzy and falling down and sliding down to the bottom occasionally. Or else I'm remembering some old movie or TV show. :D

If bunk beds are coming, I hope that they don't use the model from the mobile game. The Sim in the top bunk is basically sleeping in a coffin. The only thing missing is the lid.

If there is a bed coming, I would love to see new interactions that allow Sims on the top bunk to have interactions with the Sims on the bottom. Also, I hope that EA/Maxis will release loft bed versions at the same time.
