Do you think we'll be able to put residential rental lots on top of a small business? I'm imagining a little shopping mall (small business so you can set different activities), with apartments on top.
I'm hoping I can have a restaurant and a shop on the same lot with the new pack. Wondering how it would work.
Regardless the new pack looks really fun so I'm super excited for it!
It would be great if we could, but as the lot categories are different, I think the new system will allow max 1 business + 1 residential household per lot. This will still give tons of posibilities, I think. Right now I'm concidering to add a flat on top of all my bars, just need to know wheher they can sill be visited as a bar by other households. It was not yet confirmed that sims not living on the small business lot can visit the business like we can visit ie GTW retail stores.

It was confirmed we can visit Small Business lots, but in a roundabout way. This was during the Lectures/Classes section of the gameplay trailer.
1. They said that Lectures can be held/attended on any lot for free, but Classes are Small Business specific as a way to monetise skills.
2. They said that Classes have different Event Goals as a Host or Attendee.
If you can only attend Classes at Small Businesses... Then Small Businesses must be visitable.- Miataplay11 months agoLegend
I'm hope this is true.

Thanks! But oh, then it sounds like my top skilled sims can't make a profit from giving lectures at my Recreation Centers. Bummer, but if they need to do it free of charge, I'll pay them manually. Btw, then they will be secured some pay even if attendees are not satisfied ;)
