I just tested whether a tattoo table works on any lot and it does! You can hire a tattoo artist for 50$ which seems fair. So it's an easy solution to having a tattoo parlor without having to set up a small business with another Sim if you just want to get tattooed.
The paint mode is also way more fun than I thought! There are already so many fun tattoos in the gallery. Check out pickledcow's "James/semaJ" tattoo of James Turner, this is insane (and worked perfectly well as a test tattoo on Cassandra Goth).
I was also happy to hear that the fun music that James uses as intro and outro in his new Let's Play is actually new ingame music. Love this one :)
