What I've discovered while running my home ice cream and candy business that might benefit some.
When building your home business on your residential lot, it is best to have the restrooms on the first floor and include a shower in each. Stinky sims will take a shower. Having everything on the first floor just works best.
Whatever food item you make, pick up individual serving and place those out for sale. Otherwise, Sims will take all 8 servings when purchasing.
Decided not to charge an entrance fee for this type of business. Figured I'd make my profit off of what is sold.
Typically, I've been opening the business two days out of the week since you have to make items to replenish any items sold which is much more realistic.
Are you making cakes too? Do the customers take their purchases with them sometimes or always eat there and then? Do you have other things for them to do there?
