I’m sorry for my late reply. That sounds like it should be in game. I only have 2 sims living in a 2-floor building so it is really frustrating with all the filth gathering everywhere. I do use some mods so it may be that, but none of them should have an impact on cleaning/dust I think ? and the roomba stopped working around Christmas I think, when I only used Mc command center so I thought it was some patch that broke that one but not sure.
