Buying a pack with planning to use the main feature

  This is my first new discussion on the new forum. Apologies if it doesn't look quite right.  Has anyone ever bought a dlc without using the main feature? It kinda feels like a waste of money ...

The main feature of for rent is bugged. I play without mods on a nice desk top computer, specs above necessary, and residential rentals broke my game. If you buy for rent I highly suggest not using the main feature.

That being said, if you can get it on sale and like other parts of the pack I see no reason not to buy it. I still enjoy using the other elements of the pack. I use the kettle a lot.
