This would be great. Right now the only way to "live" at a property is to 1) have a family that's really loaded or 2) Have a family that's somewhat loaded but has someone with the Shrewd trait so you can earn money while on your "vacation." Either way, permanent vacation life gets boring after a while. (Incidentally, I tried planting a money tree at one of the Granite Falls properties just to see what would happen, but it hasn't grown beyond a sapling yet.)
Of course, if all the homes are bought up and another family wants to go on vacation, that would kind of stink. :(
