But it's not only danger or death that people want from it. It is even atmospheric. The temples don't feel unwelcoming or "scary", the skeletons inside for example are all friendly and all they do is crack up jokes.
I liked the darker aspect of the Vampires pack and I think that is why it was such a success. Because it allowed (not forced)the player to have proper scary vampires and do other things other than joking around and being happy.
In the common imaginary, people think of abandoned hidden temples as something thrilling. A mixed of scared and excited by the unknown emotions that I just don't see here.
I am still buying the pack because there are a lot of things that I really like in it but that doesn't mean I can't criticise and express my disappointment.
