When you come right down to it this is one of the biggest disappointments that TS4 has for me......this version of the franchise simply does not try to appeal,at least in some small way, to everyone.
While I agree that this pack in not WA it seems to be trying to emulate it. Foreign place, temples, archeologists, treasure hunting,puzzles....yep seems a lot like WA.
I can remember getting WA and being surprised quite a few times. I took a favorite Sim into one of the tombs with just some food and a tent. He got caught by one of the fire traps and I can honestly say I was on the edge of my seat trying to find water for him to put himself out or risk dying. Had I known I could have avoided it by just putting shower in a can in his inventory.....and there you have it. The fire trap death was easy to avoid or you could take a chance.
I'll be watching this thread to see if danger does come up because I know I won't be buying another grind away at skills for not much reward pack.
