Every single pack of TS4 has the same weakness -- all glitz and little to no glory. Jungle Adventure is no exception. This will never be fixed until EA realizes that what many of us want is compelling game play.
Then again, maybe beauty is enough this time around. Any time someone speaks or writes about how much they love TS4, they focus on build mode, CAS, and the animations. Oh, and the fact that the game can work on practically any computer made within the last decade. Very rarely has anyone really mentioned how much that they adore the game play. Make the game pretty and all else is forgiven.
I'm sure that the higher ups at EA are well aware of this phenomenon. It's clear that they are aware. Every pack, the emphasis continues to be on the appeal of the worlds and the objects. However, the Sims and the game play haven't changed very much in four years. Unless your Sim has kids or is a Vampire, not much has changed for them at all.
