Not too tech savy myself and recently my C drive almost filled up completely with the Sims 4 installed. Wouldn't let me update my game or anything using the EA App.
Following a comment on this forum, I uninstalled the Sims 4 and re-installed it to my D drive, which has tons more space. Had to backup my saves, tray folder, mods, custom music and put the files into the newly generated Sims 4 folder located in the D drive.
Had a couple hiccups, but they were mostly related to the EA app. Hoping those get resolved with time.
Edit: Sorry, this is not storage cleaner advice, but it's what helped me in a similar situation.
