Cactuses

That is something I'd like to know too. Would be nice to be able to grow them too, not just have them as decorations.

I know it is probably unlikely, but I wonder if we are getting another free basegame world like newcrest, except southwest themed. It would be nice to have somewhere else that is warm nearly year round. I get sick of snow.

Maybe the "style" kit isn't cas like a lot of us assume it to be. But rather things related to a theme, that could potentially fit with growing cacti.

If it is that I hope there is a 64x64 lot somewhere on the map. We don’t have a single one in any desert world! Well, there’s the secret lab lot in StrangerVille but you can’t build on that without mods so I don’t think it really counts tbh

Personally I just assumed because that seems to be the in-style trend right now, boho and minimalist vibes. I didn't take any of it as a hint towards something coming. Look at any trending modern interior design styles and you'll find a bunch of wall art with succulents and cactus, tropical leaves, etc. Especially the line-art kind or flat art.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. Heck, I even have a cactus shirt I got from Target. :sweat_smile:

@Chicklet453681 @SimplyJen I knew I wasn't the most in touch person when it comes to trends, but I never even considered that. I mean I know of it, but I saw those and immediately thought of Southwestern art and building styles. I have wanted those things forever and I thought I was going to have them. I like that line art, but that is a huge letdown from what I was dreaming of. I still want the kit, but I have a broken heart to deal with first.?

I don't know, it seems odd that they would include so many just because it's on trend... but maybe you're right. Guess we will see eventually.

Actually theres quite many themes they might be thinking of doing desert for

i mean :
driving cars etc desert= epic
showtime desert = continuation of del sol + common theme
horses desert = wild west baby
gambling in desert = tell me bout it
hotels in desert =another common theme

that all PLUS the fact that last few worlds we have had were woodsy lawn worlds and maybe its time to have something else

although if we are to consider it hint for this road map only for obvious reasons its probably build kit related

My guesses:
1. An update of the townies in Oasis Springs. I would be very shocked if we didn't get the Calientes and the Landgraabs fixed.
2. A kit that has to do with desert style.
