I adore Caleb. In my main rotation the game made him a bartender so when I married him in I put him in that career. He's now a celebrity mixologist. The family is fortunately rich enough now to afford his constant drink mixing. :p I never found the foodie trait to be an impediment since he doesn't have "withered stomach" - he just seems to enjoy the idea of food. And cooking. And mixing drinks. And mixing drinks. And mixing drinks. And...you get the idea. He's also pretty buff because he exercises autonomously - I try to redirect him toward yoga because he gets a little too buff and loses that goth chic, heh.
As for the constant water drinking and getting drinks from the fridge - I use MCCC to eliminate that (it's a global issue, not just with Caleb).
I've never seen him paint anything, but he's also a father of 11 and grandfather of lord only knows how many, so he hasn't had a ton of freetime for about forty years.
