Sorry for going off tonic, but I don’t think all the Sulani festivals take place at the Town Center. I had sims vacationing at Lagoon Look the other day, and some days there would be balloons and banners on the beach at the cove between Lagoon Look and Kin-Ship. My sims also joined some other sims having a bonfire there one of the evenings where the bonfire disappeared later on similar to the stuff from the other festivals.
And one of the days they spent there, I also noticed a bunch of sims running towards the fishing spot enclosed by a net (no idea what that is called), and three of them stood on the pier next to each other fishing, so I think the fishing competition could be happening there.
On topic - interesting with the new calendar. Icons seem quite a bit bigger, but it’s sweet with the picture of the birthday kid, and probably easier to keep track of if you have large families.
Hey @Greyling thanks - do you know around what time of day the bonfire and balloons one happened near the Lagoon Look? - VWoodsong5 years agoSeasoned Ace

Yeah, that's the fishing contest. Also, the turtle-hatching one isn't in the Town Center, either. It happens along the beach in Mua Pel'am, but of course, that one's not the usual kind of festival event, anyway. - JustMeAlb5 years agoSeasoned AceOnly benefit I would have had was being able to see when City Living festivals are happening, but they don't show up on the calendar till the day they are happening. Would rather have the focus on current lot button back down in its old spot.
- Wait...Sulani has festivals? I have sims who live in Sulani and I've never been notified nor did I see them around "town"
Weird - Artcader5 years agoRising AceFor those that can and want to to use a mod, this one sends out notifications when one (a Sulani festival) occurs: https://www.patreon.com/posts/mod-island-event-48520871

Did anyone else notice that in the filter items on the calendar they have vacations but you can't actually plan a vacation. I thought it was weird. Maybe when you're on vacation the calendar reflects that? I don't know but I think it's a missed opportunity to be able to plan my vacations in advance.
I also thought that was weird; I tried to go in game and see if I can schedule a vacation the way you can schedule an event but it's not an option. Once a sim is on vacation, does it pop up on the calendar? - Gyldenloev5 years agoNew Veteran> @troshalom said:

@troshalom - you’re welcome. It was in the evening. It was already taking place when I noticed the bonfire and then I sent my sims over - I think it was around 9 or maybe even 10 pm and it finished pretty soon after they arrived. Could be it was the Beach Bonfire mentioned on the Festival Schedule unless that one takes place somewhere else? - troshalom5 years agoSeasoned AceI see the vacation on the calendar. My CC & Mods are updated so I opened my legacy save. Totally forgot they got married, are on honeymoon and are honeymooning at the Bro's house that I converted into a rental. ?

BTW @JustMeAlb The notebook took the center on lot button, not the calendar.
