In my most recent save, as I was playing the Caliente household, Katrina died of old age at home. I didn't beg or anything and let the urn appear. And I clicked on it, meaning to engrave it with an epithet when an option called 'Call Forth Ghost' appears in the circle. I've never seen that option before. Is that a new thing since the most recent patch or has it been here all along and I've been completely blinded? When I clicked the option, Katrina Caliente's ghost appeared and this was during the day!Has anyone noticed this as well? And can you tell me how long the ghost stays once they are 'called forth'? And is this option always available now?

Yeah, I just put in an old save that has a ghost and I don't get to call forth.

Yeah, it's weird 'cause I don't have the debug cheats mod and option pops up anyway. MCCC is the only mod I have, so maybe it unlocked the option to do so? I'll play around with calling forth the ghost and see the nuances of it myself. Thanks for the answers! Now I know it's not part of the base/original game (thanks @StilleWater !)

I thought this was the result of cheats but i had it show up with no cheats or mods.

I think it's the MCCC. I had this option when MCCC was activated, so I saved and take the mod away CC, on the same save with the same Sims the option was gone.

I'm not sure if it's MCCC related, but I have that mod and I have the call forth option. That's how I got Jacques Villareal back in my house when he died before I was ready for him to go.
