can anyone explain how to stop certain bat night events

You can switch the bar lot to a lounge lot and it won't have the bar nights.

If you have MCCC you can shut bar nights off completely but there's not a way to do it in the game unless you avoid going to the lot completely on the alien/bear/knight nights.

wow thank you for answering so quickly much appreciated I just wonder if as many sims will come visit a lounge under this setting I will have to test that-) I am not opposed to using MCCC but it seems like overkill for the few things I use mods for but if the lounge does not work the way I want it then I will have to go that route :)

You could also change it to a Club instead of a Lounge but I've never had a problem with sims showing up to lounge lots at least the BG ones.

I set mccc to force aliens into human disguise. I don't want green/blue people ruining my game vibes. :D

Man, you said "bat night" in the subject line instead of "bar" and I was like WHAT!!! I thought it was some kind of gothic vampire event that I was missing out on :lol:

Anyway yes I was going to suggest MCCC if you use mods. I only just downloaded yesterday it to try it out and saw that as an option.

Scroll down she has a mod called less bar nights and it stops the alien, bear, knight and ghost night madness at bars...lol

I thought the same thing about mc at first, that it was too much and I didnt need it. Now i cant go back.

You will see all the ways you can customize your game and never be able to go back lol.

Thank you I will try that I am so engrossed in just sorting out my mermaid sims in cas and placing them in this awesome world I will try it as a lounge and come back and let you know if I feel there are significant changes..

I have been putting MCC off for a while as I think it might be overkill for me but I need to get around to learning about it more :)

I'm having this exact same issue. I'm about to hop onto Manage Households and delete all of those damn aliens.

I like having aliens in the game but not like this. If they at least used their disguises but they never do it's really annoying. I hate the fact that bars have the ghosts and alien nights, because you just know they will plague your game to no end when you go to one. I avoid going to this venue because of it and it's one of my favourite venues to take my sims to.

I think I am about to do the same as just as I am considering changing the bar designation to stop that alien bar night I sent my 2 new mermaid sims for a swim next day during the daytime and see the following :o I swear there are more aliens in this tropical world than i have ever seen elsewhere in any other world and I just cannot understand it?
