- You have to have a mod that overrides that "fill empty homes" setting then. I always found MCCC to be hyper aggressive at filling homes and impregnating sims. Are you using any mods like that?
- Hi @Kerrigan
I have a few mods including MCCC so i am wondering if you are saying MCCC is overriding my game choices with regards this issue? "SPARKY1922;c-17689570" wrote:

Yeah, mods can affect the population settings quite a bit. I had initially gotten MCCC because when I originally installed Vampires there were just too many of them and MCCC helped control that but the base settings filled all houses and there were a ton of pregnancies- BabykittyjadeRising ObserverThis was my issue with mcc. I had to fill every house with 8 sims just to stop the houses from filling with sims I didn't want and having babies. I looked through all the settings and couldn't find a way to change it. Hopefully someone else knows.
- Thanks for the input @Babykittyjade
I also hope someone might know and answer to this as it's driving me nuts lol - @SPARKY1922 , from computer, go to MC Population ->Moving settings->Allow homeless move in->disable

Hi @dearie_blossom & @catmando830
The game options is un-checked supposedly not to allow the filling of empty houses with sims but it's still doing it this which is why I asked because I thought it was supposed to stop?
Do you use the MC Command Center mod? It has a setting to allow homeless Sims (those in the Not In World population) to fill empty houses, regardless of what you select in Game Options. In your game with a Sim active, click on any computer, then choose MC Population. From there, go to Moving Options... and look for Allow Homeless Move In. By default, it's enabled; click on Disable (you may need to do a game save and restart) and that should take care of the problem. (I had a similar issue when I had to reinstall MCCC and accidentally trashed my old mc_settings file so had to manually restore all the settings, and I missed this one.)- Thank you @Ellupelluellu & @stilljustme2
Now I know MCCC can override my game options on this I can finally put a stop to my constant evicting practices :) - Chicklet45368Rising TravelerThanks @Ellupelluellu and @stilljustme2 for the detailed explanation. I was wondering the same thing, I'm in the process of filling all my worlds with just single sims I've created or edited and didn't want a bunch of EA generated people in my worlds.
- Uncheck the "Fill Empty Homes" option.
