Can anyone help me get rid of this giant mailbox?

When this happened to me off the lot like this I just saved as and went to the main menu and back to the lot again and it was gone. You can also try traveling.

I just tried traveling and it didn't work. I originally went to the main menu and it didn't work. :/

Click it again and select remove as head. Then delete the giant mailbox that will now be sitting next to you.

it's already off my head, but my sim wasn't on her lot when I removed it, so now it's just sitting in front of the property, and I can't delete it because it's on the sidewalk, and out of range of build mode :/

Can you drag it into your inventory?

it won't let me do anything but 'check mail'. not in live mode or in build mode :|

I just tried restarting my game and it's still there :(

Oh yes. The set as head cheat is the end all be all. How did I ever manage playing the sims in the past without this truly ingenious cheat. Really. It's the only reason I play.

Have you tried repairing the game or clearing your caches?

Other than that. I don't know. Useless cheats entertain me not.
