Can I get a toddler back after it has been taken away?

Yeah, it's a shame that toddlers and babies, and sometimes even children have their Needs crash when you are playing off lot. The only preventative measure is just to keep a watchful eye on their icon. If the Bring Here option shows up in the pop up Menu of their small icon, you can do that, and cheat their Needs by shift-clicking on them with testingcheats enabled. Then you can immediately send them Home. I'm not sure if Bring Here is available when you're on Vacation, tho, or in one of the GTW careers. Doing it this way is probably considered cheating, but if the game is glitched, it is better than losing one of your offspring. And it does require you to be watchful, so it somewhat affects your immersion in the happenings where you're playing. I hope the devs will address this at some point.

Services take them just as babies so you can leave your todd with fire and he'll be fine. Weird right?
