Can I use retails lots to visit without a sim owning them?

I would like to set up a few retail lots in my savefile for my sims to visit. I would like to have a bridal store and a potions shop. Is it possible to have these functional, as in have my sims actual...

OK. Thanks. I guess I'll have to look for a cheat to get retail points to set up everything. I didn't know I could pick their outfits. I will definitely do so.
