Do anyone know whether infants can be played actively and directed directly by us? Are they helpless like the baby, or a household member like the toddler? Do they act based on our indirect actions, l...

I think their options will be rather limited, not rreally sure what an infant could do? "Watch tv channel ..."? Nope. "Turn on stereo"? No. "Make a mess"? Nope, not even that. They can probably "watch thing" to build some understanding of their surroundings. And maybe some toys can have multiple options, liuke "pull" or "drag" or "smash". I hope they can also initiate some interaction with household members incl. pets.
Most of all I hope an infant's actions, being iniitiated or directed, will have some affect on their future personality. A cared for infant MUST be different from an infant NEGLECTED, right?
