Can lesbian couples have boy babies?

Try having the mom listen to alternative music and eat carrots. That apparently raises chances of a boy.

i dont think it has anything to do with the parents gender. my sims always seem to have the same gender baby. every generation it switches. my first gen had all girls, second gen had all boys, etc.

AFAIK, the game doesn't really factor in X and Y chromosomes. It just randomizes the baby's gender.

I know that influencing the gender using food and music is legal in legacy challenges, so if you're not against it, your pregnant sim should eat a lot of carrots and listen to alternative music.

My last lesbian couple had all boys but they almost always had the alternative station going and I kept forgetting to turn it off. LOL

I have several lesbian couples in my game(s) and a few of them have boys. One couple has twin boys. It doesn't make a difference to the game, I think its random. As far as the concern about the y chromosome and passing it down from two x chromosomes, I think it wouldn't matter anyway because as of yet, I don't think its possible to have a child linked biologically to two female or two male people yet in real life either. Maybe some day science will find a way, but for now, our sims get to do something that our real life counter parts cannot.

So I agree that it would make sense for them to only be able to have girls or only have boys depending on the couple dynamics, but I am so glad its not the case. I love that all my simmies can have a random shot at either/or.

It is possible. Like others have said, have your sim eat carrots and listen to alternative music and avoid strawberries and pop music. The Sims series doesn't have X or Y chromosomes (gender can be influenced during the pregnancy in The Sims 3 and 4 and the gender may be different if you exit without saving after sim gave birth, come back, and have your sim give birth again in all games).
Or if you want, choose an adult sim, click on the closet or mirror, and choose Change Sim. You'll enter CAS where you can also edit sim's body shape, face, voice, and even gender without cheats. Just a suggestion if you don't want another baby (turning a girl into a boy).

Good news! Baby number six was a boy. Good thing too, otherwise I would have had to wait for the oldest to become an adult and move out to try for another.

Haha! Yeah, now I just have to keep all those girls happy and healthy until they age out of the household so I don't get any penalties for having children removed by Social Services!

I knew the risks when I chose the "Strict Equality" rule set, but who would have thought my very first generation would get stuck with six kids when the household has no money! Would have been much easier to handle a few generations down the line.

I have one house hold that has 5 kids, all girls. One teen, one child, and triplet toddlers. I do not use mods or cc. These were all "natural" pregnancies
