I really dislike putting stuff on an immortal pedestal.
So do I. It certainly takes away from the possibilities to more varied stories with this generation, especially the response of the potential father (were he a willing one.) It makes me wonder if the immortal tag can be lifted through modifications. It's certainly something I'm willing to look into.
If there was a mod to enable death for pregnant Sims, I'd download it right away. Ghosts can appear pregnant with cheats, so I don't see why not.- MckinneyMini10 years agoNew Ace

OMG this made me laugh so hard for some reason. - MckinneyMini10 years agoNew Ace

Not even by fire? Will they just be surrounded by flames and say "this is fine", while their family is dying in the background?
Also, what about drowning? If you wall in the pool will they just teleport out of it? - The grim repper will give them another chance

1) Thread is almost 2 years old
2) Pregnant sims explicitly cannot die - death interactions are locked out for them. Starve them and they'll eat a candy bar (they have infinite of them in their pocket: I honestly don't know why everyone eats those candy bars if they're so filling >:D). Try to drown them and they'll leave the pool to pass out.- I tried like everything to kill a pregnant barely turned vampire, locked her in a ' room of death ' ( no doors ) outside in the sun, and all she would do is moan about the sun, and heat flames would show.. her vampiric bar dropped, but she never did die.

Yeah! It used to be hard for me to take care of a pregnant sim in TS2. They would get tired and then hungry and then both. - I've had my preggo sim starve and swim in a pool for two days and she hasn't died yet, so I'm assuming not

If the baby comes out as a mermaid I wouldn't be surprised ;)- aejp248 years agoSeasoned AceI've tried once a long time ago after get together came out and it was impossible. It was for story telling purposes. Anyways I tried starving her and messing with her emotions but she managed to live despite my attempts.
