Can "sell to local bakery"?
I just had my sim bake chocolate donuts to eat that came out "excellent" and when I went to have her grab a serving there was an option to "sell to local bakery" for 300s. I don't remember seeing this...

I think they mighta changed the cupcake machine only thing with MWS, otherwise it's probably just another weird thing the sims did one time.
