I like build videos cause I get tips and tricks for building and decorating myself. I've only recently really gotten into building and decorating, and I have learned some fun tricks and decorating ideas from watching videos. And I have seen some pretty amazing builds, but, to be honest, if they don't decorate in the video, and do it well, I will skip that video.
ETA: I also like CAS videos, too. I prefer non-cc CAS videos, so (again) I can get ideas on how to dress my sims with only EA. If they do use CC, it just makes me want the CC and most people don't link the cc they use.
I also like watch CC hauls, cause you can find good CC with those.
