With all respect to those who want it, a high school pack is at the absolute bottom of my wish list. To take a Sim first through high school and then through University is more time then I want to put on a single Sim.
Do you feel the same way about active careers for adults or do you leave them to rabbit holes only? For me high school would be the active career for teens a way to not have them completely unplayable for hours of the day seeing as many households they are the main Sim I play.
I can see them doing it similarly to GTW active careers where we can follow a particular teen that day (or maybe multiple in the same household) or let them go alone and stay home with the rest of the household.
This would be ideal for households with rabbithole careers, and give me something to do while the adults are off at work. When it's the adult's day off, I could send the kids alone and spend the day with the adult.
For households that have active careers I would have to alternate between them and the teens, but that adds variety while playing that household. Gig work could be done around school hours for everyone except actors.
Maybe they could have different subjects on different days, or allow you to learn any way you want as long as it builds the associated skill? That would keep things interesting too, as you could actively play only the subjects that interest you, or that interest that teen.
I think I'd enjoy that kind of gameplay. It would also improve the social lives and add additional rites of passage for teens.
