My sims walking through the actual door, itself, even after it opened was one of the first things I noticed. It got progressively worse after that. I play on a gaming rig, now a few years old, and perhaps it isn't as powerful as it needs to be. Hubby keeps mentioning I need a new computer, but so far it hasn't materialized.
A gaming computer should be able to handle it.
I don't remember but I think I saw in a video, I think it was one of Carl Sims Guides old video that in the sims4 they solved the issue with sims blocking each other like they could do in the sims3 by allowing clipping if the game was lagging behind, often caused by many sims in one place.
I have noticed that my game can lag behind sometimes as well, often during fall and winter because the game is probably struggling to render all the leaves and the snow. Appearantly the eco lifestyle eco sun rays are very demanding as well. Especially in Henford on Bagley, and I got a gaming computer.
The weather I can't do much about, except disabling weather effects which I would prefer not to, but I have tried things like getting sims less stuck using the same things, so multiple fridges and things like that helps sims finding paths and not get stuck and not clip through things.
