@Andygal, I think the UI would be easier for me to see if it were just a smidge different color. Many have complained about the white on white, and this triggering a headache. You know when you look at this site, and read where someone quotes someone else, the highlighted is colored in just a smidge of light blue. It is a nice opposite to the overly bright color of the site, and does help when looking at this site, too.
Maybe something like that, or maybe a modder can come up with something, since they did for the TS3's UI.
