I found when playing Sims3 dark worlds I could turn up the Gamma settings on my PC so that I could see better and it could be that Simmers could lessen Gamma too. I can remember one of my older games allowed you to change Gamma settings from the Options section.
Yep, but aren't gamma settings actually built into a game and some games allow you to adjust this (especially older adventure games where you had to search dark corners and caverns) and TS4 doesn't allow it? since there aren't any controls for it inside the game's UI.
I was told by one of them 'white' is the TS4 marketing color chosen so I assume the reason this site is also white background is because of marketing choices.
