Can we have cut-scenes (special event camera) again, please?

(after a while they become a plague. Maybe only if they'll let us turn them off! But still...)

I would like them, but only if they show up once per save. They got a little too hectic at times from what I remember.

I always turned these off. I'm a storyteller and I would rather see my sims do the actual kissing and being born and such and take pictures of that.

As long as we can turn them off and as long as we get one for dying, I'm good.

Just imagine the event camera panning around a sim being eaten by a cowplant...

No, we can not have cut scenes in TS4. They have already confirmed there will not be a special event camera/cut scenes.

To me, there's no point in asking anymore, they already said no.

Riversong, I agree with you. In fact, I still play ts2 and love the special events.

To the first responder, you could turn them off in the game options.

To Cinebar, I had no idea that they already made that decision.

I do believe (99%) sure Grant or Ryan..but I do think it was one of the Grants confirmed 'no cut scenes'. And went on to explain how they are working hard on the game etc. etc...the answer to just about everything when the answer is 'no' to specific questions.

OP, don't misuderstand...I would like it back..but TS3 has won out over things from TS2 in just about eveything we wanted back from that game.

We constantly see..'but'...I wouldn't want that back because..etc. etc...and looks like Devs listen more to that group (no random deaths!) than to those that loved special things in TS2.

Ah, I loved those :) I remember one time when I played TS2, and a couple woohooed for the first time. My parents were in the room next to mine. Wouldn't have been a problem, if the sound hadn't been maxed out. So there I sat, with the seductive music and sounds from that cut-scene on max, had no idea how to turn it down, and just hoped my parents wouldn't wonder what it was they heard. Until today I'm still thankful they didn't come to my room that moment.

I was really dissapointed first time I played TS3 and there was no cut-scenes.

This! I played on the family computer back then and was always so embarrassed when those scenes would come up. But then again, who wouldn't be as a ten year old?

i miss them too! but i wish we could click the mouse or press any key to skip it. cuz at one point it got annoying.. before it got cute again. :P
