I play with MCC and I'm ending up with cousins falling in love with second/thirds and so on because the game doesn't register them as being related to my sim. and again with Great uncles and Aunts why aren't they listed as being related to my sim why can my sim flirt with her great uncle, it's creepy and needs to be changed. because the great uncle ends up having a secret affair with his great niece there is so much wrong with that. The same with step-dad's why aren't they listed as stepdad, why can his stepdaughter flirt with him and possibly end up in a relationship with him. Am I the only one who see's a problem with the system?
It seems like this game only caters to 1-2 generations any further than that and you start to see some crazy plum, I had a family with 18 generations once and it was a mess, combinded with MCC it just turned into everyone in the family having an affair with each other. :neutral: I'd like for more relationship options to be added to the game like Second-third cousins, great Aunt/Uncle/ Step parents to be registered as step parents and not a stranger living in the house, and adopted siblings. That would be cool. :)
ask the people who made the mods. I have no mods or CC in my game and I am not seeing that. There was an issue after one of the patches - that they fixed some time ago, Haven't had issues since. Make sure all your mods and CC are updated to the newest patches - and if you still have an issue - then check with the mod creators. Maxis has no responsibility for mods. You need to keep them up to date to each patch - otherwise they can cause those kind of issues.
That's why I refuse to use mods and CC as I quickly tire of having to constantly take them out, update them, then add them back with every single patch - so I just don't bother until the game is done being developed. LOL.
Also they don't acknowledge cousins after either 2nd or 3 rd cousins as far as I understand because legally they can marry in most places around the world - as far as I know they do acknowledge first cousins. So you will have to police that yourself I guess.
Like you I would not like my sims even slightly related to do that. LOL.
