Can you adjust the days in each lifespan?

You can do this with the MC Command Center mod.

Otherwise, you can change life spans to be short, normal, or long.

I hope this gets patched to the game at some point. The sims 3 didn't have this feature for like, a year or something? But eventually it got patched in.

You can't do it without a mod.

If you have the points have your sims purchase the Potion of Youth from the Reward Store that will reset the sims age to the beginning of their current lifespan.

Or you could use the cas.fulledit cheat which should allow you to set the mom to whatever age you want her to be.

Alternatively you could just keep one other household member around until the heiress reaches their teen life stage and kick them out then.

Yeah, sometimes I use cas.fulleditmode to age a sim back down a life stage if I want them to have more time. I have been doing that more often lately.


Sometimes I tweak aging by going into the gameplay settings. I basically do that to lengthen a sim's lifespan in a customized way. My default aging is normal length but in practice, I often draw things out.

If you're playing by the standard legacy rules it is allowed to use one Potion of Youth (or Cowplant milk or Deathflower) per sim lifetime.

Also those challenges (as far I had read) does not ban mods

I wish we could - I loved Sims 3 style aging as I play epic aging in Sims 3, and then tagged on for each life stage precise time. The game at present even on the longest age is way too short for me for each life stage - so I shut off aging and just age each sim with birthdays when I feel they are ready to age again. I do not like any sim having a short life stage - so I do wish we had Sims 3 style aging.

All 5 Sims 3 lifespans, plus one realistic lifespan (credits to NRaas Wiki for the idea). Lifespans have been adjusted to even numbers in order to divide them by 2 or multiply them by 4 with fast or slow settings in game options.

Short :
- baby : 2 days
- toddler : 2 days
- child : 2 days
- teen : 4 days
- young adult : 6 days
- adult : 6 days
- elder : 6 days

Medium :
- baby : 2 days
- toddler : 4 days
- child : 4 days

You can choose a long life span. Apart from that, you can only make their lives longer by using an aspiration award and/or the wishing well.

NICE!!!!!! Realistic is pretty close to the way I age them manually. Nice to see this. I thanked you and gave you a favorite check. I give the infant 30-35 days, the toddler, and child 100 days each. The teen 150 days, the YA, adult and elder 450 days each. That is if an elder makes it that far - they tend to overdo and seriously put that number in jeopardy in some elders. LOL. So keeping them fit seems to be the best way to keep them around.
