Even dancing with someone! Oh sure you choose to "dance with" the other sim, but they aren't dancing together are they? I'm not expecting them to do the foxtrot or tango but they don't even stand close and turn towards eachother. Also, no slow dance.

Yeah, pair dancing should have been in Get Together.

Thanks for all the comments. I had designed a house and a restaurant on Sulani with the thought I could at least take a couple from the house to the restaurant...and then I figured out the canoe would only hold one...and then I figured out I can't "travel" that way anyway. So I guess I will redesign the restaurant. The house may stay the way the it is because I can use the ladder to check on fish traps and I can dive off the deck. Anything else I can do with the opening on the deck and ladder?

Out of all the features I felt were left out of Island Living, this one not being included disappointed me the most. We have the Get Together pack that supposedly gives us activities to do as a group then they leave out the ability for our Sims to travel together on boats and aqua zips. While I do use the club system a lot in my game, I feel we need more to do with our coupled Sims. Dating Sims, engaged Sims, married Sims, they have been largely ignored and are in dire need of some unique interactions and activities. Where is the romance? They can't even engage in a slow dance together. Too much emphasis has been placed on the partying aspect in Sims4, rather than a nice mix of activities that suit the different relationships represented within the game. I rarely use the watercraft in Island Living because even though they were implemented well, they are meant to be used by only one Sim. And not being able to take the beloved family dog along for a ride in the boat just seems wrong.

All of this! The lack of slow dancing in particular annoyed me. What good is a wedding if the couple cannot have a first dance together?? I was looking at my old Sims 2 screenshots the other day, and there were so many cute couple moments and interactions that I simply cannot do with this game. I have a few mods for some interactions, but the animations aren't 100% smooth. And one should NOT need mods for something so simple and essential!
As for the boat, yeah, I was really disappointed too. It looks like it could easily hold two. They could have rode out onto the see, fish together, chat on the boat, cuddle on the boat etc. But no...

I know what you're saying. Using mods has become the norm to fix bugs and to add some of the interactions we enjoyed so much in Sims2 and 3. In Sims3 I used a lot of mods so I could just play it. In Sims4 I am using even more mods to fix bugs and irritations. I waited almost three weeks before my mods were updated after the pre-ep update. And I deleted a few older mods to make room for a couple of gameplay mods that caught my eye. Up to now, I have used mods just to fix what is broken. Now I am looking to add some gameplay elements that might give the game the boost I am looking for. Island Living didn't quite cut it in the new gameplay additions this time around. And since I am not interested in the next stuff and game packs coming up, I won't need to wait for my mods to be updated. So until a new expansion rolls around that adds some of the things I want (which I will buy when it goes on sale), I am going to experiment with these other mods and see what they have to offer. Our modding community is awesome.They understand what we want better than EA does.

I am also deeply disappointed sims can't share a boat. What's the point of giving my sim the most beautiful moment while sailing on a boat if he can't share it with a loved one. And by this I don't think only about couples but also friends or a parent-child bonding moment.
