Try going to work with your sim the next working day and see if she appears then. The suspect often appears the next day when this happens.

I tried this, didn't work, so I tried using the testingcheats method where you debug from Detective Day Events... I just made it worse! Now my notebook is saying the suspect is a teen and young adult, has black, brown, and blond hair, is wearing a long sleeve and short sleeve shirt and a jacket, and is wearing slacks, jeans, and a skirt. At this point, I go to work and they tell me to interrogate the (NONEXISTENT) suspect, so I issue an APB again everyday, but since I can't find the suspect with all of this contradictory information, I do a terrible job at work everyday! I can't get promoted without solving this case, and my sim will be an elder soon. Any advice?
