I'm horrible at "playing detective" but I'm trying it with one sim. When he was trying to solve a case yesterday the game notes reminded me to have him look at his notebook, but when I clicked on the phone, I got a message that his phone wasn't available to use at that time/place.
It's frustrating. This is why I've never been fond of "active careers". I'm no good at any of them, so my poor sims suffer for it. :(
I do agree, i liked them in the sims 3 but sadly one of the later eps in 3 broke them and they were never fixed. I hope that doesnt happen in 4!
