My sis was just playing with her sim and was having the same problem.. I told her to ask which way did the suspect go and watch which way the hands point.. most of the time all the innocent point in the same direction but the guilty points in the opposite direction.. Not sure what her end result was, I was busy doing stuff and forgot to ask.. Just thought I would toss this one out there incase it helps.
