Can't Find Interaction

My Sim who is my first one to play the Acting Career, has done so well at it, he was just promoted to Superstar. This unlocked a few new gigs, as a result. Sadly, my Sim has also been afflicted with illness. First Bloaty Head and now he's got Sweaty Shivers. I do think his brother, the Chief Intern, is unwittingly bringing such germs into their household. Three siblings live together, one is married with three toddlers (twins and a younger sister) and my Global Superstar has his girlfriend living there, too. No worries, they are in separate bedrooms on separate floors. I was really disappointed to see that one of the gigs I was really interested in him taking was gone by the time he appeared well-enough to go out in public. Many of the actors and stage hands/crew et al are currently suffering, too.

Since he's been promoted, I found a gig that looked interesting. (Still kicking myself over the loss of a gig I really wanted him to have, but maybe it will come back around?) At any rate, I would assume since these gigs are available to him, that all of the pre-filming job tasks should be available for him too. He has to practice a dramatic scene with another Sim, or he can perform a Dramatic Monologue. Either will do, as far as I'm concerned. But he doesn't have either available. He can practice an action scene; a sci-fi scene; a romantic scene; or a horror scene. Likewise, there are no such monologues available if I click on him.

I've gone ahead and shut down my game for the evening and like I always do, I will clear out the localthumbcache.package. I am hoping that the game, for whatever reason, isn't quite recognizing his promotion. Otherwise, I shall have to do a repair game. Unless anyone has any nuggets of wisdom that will help me?
