Can't find Sim in manage households

As for OP's mysterious townie boyfriend, are you sure you look through every household? Did you look into the "Not in the world" category? Usually, the townies that game spawns can be found there. But if you enable the "fill the empty house" in the game option, or you have mods which allow homeless to move in, it's a highly chance that the mysterious boyfriend had already moved in.

As far as I know, sims will disappear from the game once culled, just like they never exist! You can't find them in the relationship category, either. Logically speaking, they can't call you or send texts since they no longer exist. If you can't find a sim in any household, and this sim still show up or contact with you, which leads to the only explanation: this sim has already be in the hidden household. There are some NPC in the hidden one such as Senior Pollination Technician #3 and CurioShop Owner. I think maybe the sim you're referring to could be somehow being in hidden household.

If you really want to play that sim, you can use cheat to add him to your household. Click ctrl+shift+c at the same time then your see a blink pop up, then type "testingcheats true", once it's done, holding shift and click the sim that you want to add, you'll see the option "add to family", click it then the sim will be in your household right away. And be careful! A sim you add will lose their NPC job like gym trainer, DJ...etc. You can also use the same way to remove a sim from family, which will make one become NPC, and the one you remove by cheat will be in the hidden household.

Another infamous culling is baby, toddler or child being whisked away. Sending alien baby back to homeland is also counted as culling. Once happening, they'll show up in a hidden household without any data. I wasn't sure about this one, but I once sent an alien female baby back, then I used MCCC to see what was really going on, it turned out that the baby was in a hidden household which I could only see it with MCCC, and MCCC informed me of that it couldn't find any data about that baby. But MCCC still stated that my sim had a daughter. and I checked the genealogy, the baby was still showing there. So I guess culling the babies, toddlers and children in this way will delete the date of the targeted sims, but the relationship will still remain.

Do you have MCCC? You can find the hidden household with this mod. Click the mailbox to find the "MCCC Cheat" option, click it then choose the "show the hidden household", a window which shows all the hidden ones will pop up. Now you can pick the one you want to "un-hide". You'll get the notification if you make it or not. Once done, you can find the household in the not in the world category, then you know what to do.

But be careful with the alien Senior Pollination Technician #3, who get the male sims pregnant! I've seen a player reply it would crush the game if you actually found her and played her. She is a special sim that can only "be known" after a male sim delivered the alien baby. You can find her once the baby aging up to toddler, which allows you to see the relationship and genealogy of the baby. She'll show up in both parts. She won't age, pay a visit to your sim, or show up in anywhere. She, in fact, isn't a real sim, to be accurate. Because of her no-aging, she'll be the mother of all the babies from any male sims she impregnates through abduction. In other words, aliens born in this way could have other half-brothers/sisters, if there are other male sim getting pregnant from her.

Stupid question, but related.
Is it safe to delete those two ghost what came with GT, the ones at the museum mansion? Why I ask is that the male one has made a Club, not the Knight chess one, another, and he will show up at any park at night time and is dressed like Boba Fett. (not that I am against Star Wars ghost parties, but I prefer Vader more than Boba Fett)

Or actually.. how do I make a Ghost playable? and is it even possible for those two? As they look like scripted. I only want to delete that one Club :)

There was a sim in my game that was not in “unplayed households” and she wasn’t my sim. But I had a male sim I was interested in having her interact with, so I would make my sim visit her workplace... lo and behold she was at work every time. That is not the first time that that has happened in my game, there’s been a few sims that I don’t see listed but I find them where they usually hang out.

I was worried if it would blow my game if I try to delete those two, as they seemed to be scripted to that lot. Glad to know they respawn :) It is not the thing that they are ghosts, that is totally fine, but the said club he was leading.. lol if I could post a pic I would :)
