Can't finish Extreme Sports Enthusiast Aspiration

So I have not posted here in years and so I hope I'm not breaking any rules. I play the Sims on and off just started again after a long break. Trying to have my Sim complete the extreme sports enthusiast aspiration. I went through it no problem and I felt like there was never any lack of bad weather on the slopes but now that I need to complete the ski/snowboard on hard during inclement weather I can't get any inclement weather. I have been trying for like a week real people time and countless Sim days. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix? Anyone have any suggestions on how I can complete the aspiration without cheating? If cheating is the only way what are the safest/ easiest to execute cheats?

    @TRUTHhurts953, if you own the seasons expansion pack (and I assume you do based on discussing the need for bad weather), buy a Doctor June's Weather control device. If your sims don't actually live in the Mt. Komorebi world, buy it on one of the public space lots, like the Onsen bathhouse. Then use it to change the weather to whatever you want.

    If you do decide you want to go the cheat route, the weather cheats are explained here.

    @Truthhurts953, Wow, it's like they wanted to make it hard for you!

    I guess you are stuck with cheat codes. ... Though now I wonder if those will work on the mountain. If you try them, could you circle back and let us know?

    Yeah I can let you know if I use them. My concern with the weather cheats is if I use them how do I them make the weather go back to just changing normally/randomly.

    Yeah I went ahead and tried the weather cheat codes and it did not change the weather on the mountain!! Man this is so frustrating!!

    Weather effects have a pre-assigned min/max duration, so weather will go back to being the normal/forecasted weather after that duration expires for whatever weather you cheat it to be. Though in this case, seeing as it didn't work anyway...I guess that answer hardly matters. :lol:

    I wish you luck in the weather turning foul soon. heheh

    Extreme sports enthusiast came with Snowy Escape, not with Seasons, so it can't depend on Seasons weather.
    Try checking the weather on Mt. Komorebi using the info board.

    If you're open to cheats, there is a cheat to enable icy conditions on Mt Komorebi. I think it is something like testingcheats on, shift-click, enable icy conditions. I'm sure it can be googled.
