Not sure if you guys @Anoyes and @spazin1015a play with mods or not. I do, and after I removed Road to Fame mod (I hadn't updated it). My sim was able to go back in her auditions.
If you don't play with mods, try repairing your game. Also, delete your localthumbcache file. But I would say the repair game is the last resort. Hope you're able to get everything working once again!
